Private Messaging?

Excellent job with Community Engine, Bruno!

I do have a question, though. Is it possible to send "private" messages / comments to friends? The community site we are building is in the healthcare industry, so we need the ability for users to have non-public conversations due to HIPAA regulations.

Hi,

AFAIK, private messaging is not yet available in CE. Anyway, you can use restful_ezm (http://github.com/sschroed/restful_ezm/tree/master), it's easy to deploy and configure. I'll try to find time to include that in CE.

Also, CE is going to have more and more plugins available, maybe a feature to enable / disable them (like in redmine => http://www.redmine.org) will be necessary in the future.
